My son's done pottery wheel work at camp and school. Just basic stuff of course, but he really enjoyed the process of creation with it.
So far I like cutting and grinding, and of course choosing patterns and glass. But I *hate* soldering. It was the part I was always scared of, and I can see the potential for really hurting myself. Plus I'm just not good at it. I have a feeling I'm going to have to do a lot of small stuff I don't mind throwing away before I attack anything I care about with solder. :(
And my garage is dark and lonely and smells a bit. I suppose I ought to do something about the dark and smelly thing first. My husband's got it packed full of stuff from his parents' house which flooded, so it's a bit moldy. And maybe some of those rubber tiles near the workbench, since nearly everything has to be done while standing.
Hmmm... sounds like my enthusiasm is waning.
I'd love to be able to garden before it gets too hot to even think about it. :) I really want to redefine my flowerbed borders, which is such a project!
