O.K. Deneb--I'm going to break it down for you

1. You ask for advice and people respond. It's rare that I can get wifey to give any advice--she does it all day.She actually said that the visual thing could be an early sign of the onset of MS and that you need to see a neurologist but didn't want to alarm you. And Larry came out of social hibernation to offer is input--you know that's rare too right? Like the president of Wikipedia answering personally.

2. After reading the advice--you dismiss it as psychosomatic---that's after you have feared every disease that you've Googled. Suddenly--something real comes down the pipe and you brush it off as if it never happened.

3. One reason that you give is that you talked with some folks on chat( versus say--a Doctor) and they didn't think much of it. Maybe they were just trying to calm you down in light of past panic--I don't know. there are a lot of highly intelligent people on Babble--but they are not Specialists in the the field(as far as I know) and neither is your pdoc.you wouldn't go to a Bakery to get your meats--or go to the butcher for a doughnut---would you?

4.If you think it is all in your mind--please realize that the mind has the power to heal--as well as make you sick. Either way--it needs to be addressed by a professional.

5. I think I read where you stood out in sub-freezing temperatures to buy a Xbox360 ---for God knows how much money. so why would it be so difficult to spend a little time and money to see a Dr. that can rule out any major illness---they don't usually clear up on their on--and if you catch something early---you just might save a lot of money--and your life.

6. I'm only saying this because I happen to care--as do many many posters here. sometimes I have to get tough with my kids--because I love them. I know you're not my kid---but I do care. So please see a doctor--and don't find some reason to chicken out at the last minute or give an excuse as to why you should forget it--I'm not buying into that deal. You've come a long way Deneb---I'd like to see you go farther.
