Is it normal to almost faint after a bath?

Posted by Deneb on January 7, 2009, at 19:15:39

OK, this has happened everytime I have had a warmer bath. i.e. It happens pretty much every time I have a bath.

I am fine in the bath, but then when I get up, I go blind and deaf and my heart pounds ferociously fast and hard. I feel sick to my stomach and I usually collapse onto a bed for a while before I feel better again.

It just occured to me that is is pretty dangerous. I could fall and injury myself if I can't find myself to the bed fast enough.

Anyways, is this normal?? Does this happen to other people? Does this mean I should never use a sauna or hot tub?
