Recommendations?

for something kind of ambient, 20th centuryish?
I like Arvo Part, for example, Philip Glass,
Gorecki, (3rd symphony-type) some of his early stuff is pretty strident.
Debussy, like Pelleas & Melisande Suite
Does this make any sense? --
Music that's about an atmosphere, rather than about a tune? Hopefully the atmosphere not one of rage-I have enough of *that* music!! Rather, looking for an atmosphere of introspection, calm, mystery, deep, curiosity.
