I've been feeling the same for awhile as well. My conclusion, for myself, was that I still need/want a lot of support or discussion about an issue that isn't of interest to others anymore. So the issue sort of gets played with or I get pats on the head...which is fine...but I've lost the ability to share the depth of my pain there. So I share it elsewhere, which is probably more appropriate anyway.
The other thing I've definitely noticed is that when posters shift and we get a different age group, things feel dramatically different.
But I've been mourning a bit too. I cycle through feeling unwanted, left out, uninspired, not helpful, selfish and nostalgic. And then I post a ton, try to get back in the swing and start over. I miss my babble friends and then realize it is me who isn't there.
*sigh* I agree, just like IRL sometimes. I hope you feel better about your board soon.
