If you find yourself with philosophical differences with how a board trend is going AND you’ve posted your points of differing opinions yet you see the “whole picture” (as in: the major of posters sharing like ideas) as differing greatly with how you feel - should you just leave it alone? Or continue to keep posting the same thing over and over? Maybe I’m answering my own question, I dunno.
I’m not speaking of this board but I am speaking of a board on this site. I’m having a difficult time with this as that board was my “hidey hole” in public sight for a long while - my diversion, my contact, and something that made me feel part of something. For quite a while, I was in agreement with a lot of the things I saw posted. But, I’ve changed and I’ve seen that board change, yet it’s still difficult to not at least read it.
I’m not sure why it is important to me other than a place of comfort and support has turned into a place for me to get p*ssed off and frustrated. I almost feel in some weird state of mourning. Strange.
