In reply to Jujube, how are you doing?, posted by KaraS on February 11, 2005, at 21:18:21
Hi Kara,
I am doing pretty well. Thanks for asking. I missed the Primetime segment unfortunately. Sounds like it would have been interesting. Did you enjoy it? Was it informative? I love that kind of stuff. When I watch t.v. these days, I have been focussing mostly on the news and current events, and have been keeping myself informed about parliamentary and government initiatives and political affairs (Canadian) so that I am not completely out of the loop when I return to work (I am so boring!). The current political landscape here in Canada is making for some interesting times, particularly with a minority government, and it is going to be interesting to see how things unfold in the weeks and months ahead.
My wrist is healing. Not fast enough for me, but I have always been a impatient patient. The cast came off and the pins came out a week ago (a week earlier than scheduled), and, with each passing day, I am able to use the wrist more and more. I actually wrote today and I just realized that I have been typing with both hands for a few minutes. I wish other parts of me healed as fast as my bones seem to.
Anyway, I have been my usual long-winded self - sorry. So, enough about me. How are you? Has your anxiety subsided to at least a tolerable (if there is such a thing) level? Have you decided on a new med? I hope that you are holding together as well as can be expected through your struggle. My thoughts continue to be with you, and I wish good things and lots of relief for you very, very soon.
Take good care of you Kara.
