My anxiety does affect me physically at times. I get really bad dizzy spells, nausea and upset stomach. I use Xanax when my anxiety gets really bad. In all the years that I have used Xanax, I have never become addicted to it nor have I needed to increase the prescribed dose.

For your nausea, you might want to try ginger. It is supposed to be really effective for nausea. As a matter of fact, Gravol now has a natural formula that is made up of ginger, so it should not be addictive. It is available in Canada. My mom tried it (she has major stomach problems and suffers from nausea and IBS a lot), and she found it to be excellent at relieving nausea. Ginger tea is also very good at settling an upset stomach and relieving nausea. Ginger can also help migraines.

I think physical symptoms are quite common with anxiety, particularly nausea and upset stomach.

I hope you find some relief soon.

Tamara
