Oh, I had one of them yesterday too!! *laughing*
So.. We just had an Amercian brinch thing (pancakes, eggs, home fries, maple syrup.. ) and I get the home fries going, they're just about done, so I move them to a back burner on the hob so I have room to do the pancakes and eggs. I leave them on a lowish heat, and pop back into the lounge for a ciggie and drink.. then this smell starts wafting through.. Like.. Burning.. took probably 30 seconds for it to click it was burning though.. Rushed back through itno kitchen, and I'd left a box of porridge oats at the back of the stove and they'd caught light and the flames were shooting up!!!!
D'uh me!!! *laughing*
But its hard to screw up too much of a meal like that!!!
