Bluedog, your yoga teacher is right. A lot of girls (myself included) are far more interested in what's inside a person than what he looks like. People who focus on looks are usually shallow and insecure..You deserve a better person than that.
Believe it or not, you took a real step forward in talking to your teacher. That took real courage. (A lot of people couldn't do it, trust me. :-) ) Maybe you could take JYL's advice about the eye contact strategy at your next lesson!
Hey Bluedog, I'm really sorry to hear that you've had a rough time over the last couple of weeks. I have had a bit of a struggle with depression lately too. (My work environment is very stressful and competitive, which can be lethal for a sensitive person like me.) The days are getting shorter as winter approaches in Sydney and I hybernate on the weekends.
Hange in there, Bluedog. That's what I'm planning to do.
