I have night terrors too. They are quite horrible. After many years of living with them, I found for me that sleeping
with a nightlight seems to really help, but each person is different. I also did much better with the night terrors
when I was on zoloft. There doesn't seem to be a cure or a reason why they happen. I can correlate the frequency of
mine to my stress level. I can go a month or two without a single one if I'm in a good spell, but other times
I can have 3-4 a night. I think understanding them is the best we can do. I hope you can ge some
rest! I fall asleep pretty fast after having one, they don't keep me awake, but I don't feel
well rested ever.
