Your question got me thinking about this. I didn't have an answer right away, but after a few thoughts, this is what I came up with. My bipolar paired with my wife's "normality" does not work very well right now. I am working on that one aside.

Granted every couple has their disagreements.

A normal/normal couple has "regular" disagreements.

A normal/bipolar couple has more strife due to the unpredictability of the bipolar.

The bipolar/bipolar has even more because the chances of both bipolars being on the same mood level at the same time would be virtually impossible.
