This is hysterical.
My husband has decided that there are certain things I am an 'expert' in, and other things I am constitutionally incapable of.Expert:
packing a suitcaseIncapable:
packing the dishwasherSo, what usually happens is, I make a move to start loading the dishwasher: "NO! the plates, go that way, otherwise we won't be able to fill it up all the way"
Seriously, the difference between my way and his way is about 5% capacity. Apparently that 5% is crucial. So we compromise. I say "who cares?" Hes says "I do" I say "well, do you want me to load it, or not?" He says "just let me do it!" And you know what? He loads the dishwasher for me! apparently seeing the 5% waste is just more than his inner perfectionist can handle. So it goes with much of the housework.
Expert:
mincing garlic, prepping veggies in generalHopelessly incompetent:
filling up the ice cube tray and the Britta pitcherExpert:
making the bedHopelessly incompetent:
Folding T-shirtsExpert: writing e-mails
Hopelessly incompetent:
Paying bills on timeExpert: tax returns
Hopelessly incompetent:
depositing checksWell, if I'm not to be trusted, then I guess i don't have to do it? Fine with me :0)
i don't know how I survived this long with all of my incapacities :) Thank goodness husband is domesticated.
