I agree 1000% with AdaGrace. This girl probably had NO idea how into her you were before she went off with that so-called "friend". Pursue her- drop him.

That's where the saying came from, "if that's a friend, then who needs enemas?" (from "enemies", of course- a lame American saying from the 80's, I think... oops, showing my age, here...)
