Usually I just say, "Can I help you?, I'm trying to take a **** here, and I prefer to do that alone"!
This however gets me this line "I'll just be a minute", or "I need to shave and shower, I don't have much time"
I once wanted to have an excape door to my bathroom where I could leave when someone came in. However, this bathroom is on the front side of the house, and I would just hate to have to run out that excape hatch with pants around my ankles in mid stream or other. Could be scary for passers by.
