Hey-I don't think its about your therapist, the dream is about you and your childhood. I cannot interpret it, but am very good at interpreting my own dreams. I once had a psychotherpist trained in Jung dream interpretation or whatever its called, and we both reached the same conclusions about my dream theories.

I don't know enough about you or your life situation to offer anything substantial, but I think the baby could symbolize psychological and spiritual growth/rebirth of your 'self'. Your Mom disrupting you could be something you can't let go in regard to your relationship with your Mother; or, your mother, or childhood issues resulting from your relationship with your Mother, could be holding you back from progress (your rebirth/spiritual growth) in some area of your life. The surgery can represent your therapist from helping you overcome/get past these issues. The cancer thoughts could symbolize your trying to deal with psychological injuries (emotional poisons). Overall, this dream is not about your therapist (not directly)--it is about you.

Look up some of the aspects of your dream in the dream dictionary and see how they relate to you:

Look up baby, doctor, wedding ring, surgery, miscarriage/death. They aren't to be taken literally, but I found the description provided of the symbols in my dreams to be very true when concluding the final interpretation.

Our dreams can provide a lot of insight into our emotional issues, and it's good you are thinking about them. :+)

Oh, and the fact this dream has a lasting impression on you represents an important aspect you need to address or are trying to address. Any vivid dreams with strong emotions are very important (not to be confused with vivid dreams caused by psych drugs-totally different thing).
