Hi Angela,

It's a good goal and better than many... However it is broad and therefore will probably take more time and effort than a more narrowly focused goal. Anyway, those broad goals will always represent work in progress, no matter how much therapy you've had; the hope is that you'll eventually be able to work on them without a T.

Can you say more about the fit between you and your T? What initially made you think you were a good fit, and what now makes you say you might not be not be? Does your T have a particular orientation, e.g. psychodynamic or CBT? How many times a week are you going?
