In reply to anyone ever write down what to talk about with T?, posted by obsidian on November 13, 2007, at 21:28:59

Due to the train times, I end up arriving in my T's neighbourhood 30 minutes before the session, so always have some time to think through things a bit.

Do any of you imagine/daydream conversations with your T? I feel a bit sad to admit this but I find myself doing this a fair bit - although then it's much easier to think what to say (or what I would say) then when actually sitting there with him, and go blank.

I did once make myself a therapy agenda :) but it felt so contrived - I'm meant to speak freely and say whatever 'pops' into my head so the agenda sabotaged that somewhat lol.

I'd say, do whatever suits and works for you best - if a therapy check-list helps keep everything in mind, then why not?
