Cactus, I hope you form a good match with your new therapist. Why did you decide to return to therapy?
I'm doing therapy for the first time but ended up telling my 'story' to several pdocs/therapists before actually commencing with therapy, which really upset me at the time - it does drag everything up and things did get worse before I felt helped. That said, I'm very glad I stuck with therapy and have a good match. I guess the rocky beginning is just a downside of the process. I hope you can stick with it and get a lot out of it. In the beginning, one of the other babblers told me to set a date and promise to myself to at least stick with the therapy until then - give it a chance - and that helped.
Good luck,
Witti
