Maybe the DBT we have here is different somehow. I think my pdoc just wants to protect me. (((((my pdoc)))))

Medical training doesn't include psychological therapies, so she would have to study seperately for her therapy quals. As I've said before, out of the hundreds of pdocs I know, only two are also trained therapists..I'm not sure what therapy qualifications she has. I don't know how she treats other patients, but she mostly gives me psychotherapy. I don't think I need to see someone else. I trust her.
