I like hugs. But I'm selective. I'm ashamed to say that I'm sexist/racist/heightist when it comes to accepting hugs. I rarely give hugs, but there are a few special folks who get my hugginess.

I feel sad that I cannot share hugs more freely. That is something that I will work on in therapy. I have reasons, deep-seated reasons. I still feel sad, though, that I cannot enjoy a hug from some people who have really changed my life for the better.

If I had to choose my best hugs of all time, it would be my little niece, with all of her precious babyfat and innocence. My mom, with all of her softness and love, and my husband, whose hugs run the gamut from "I fink I haf a cold :( " to "I'm not that innocent".

(((hugs)))

thanks for posting this toojane. I recently have elicited hugs. I was afraid that there were too many orphaned hugs running around, and I wanted to let them know that I would provide the other half of their hugging.
