It is interesting to read all the posts on touch in therapy and all of the different beliefs and boundaries therapists have about touching.
And yet, despite all the theories and explanations, it is a simple fact that touch is an important part of human connection and hugs can be healing.
Even here people offer virtual hugs all the time ((( )))
I thought I'd post this video. It is incredibly moving and it amazes me how even just watching hugging can help.

While I've heard and understand the arguments against the use of touch in therapy, they mostly make me sad.
