Hi Happyflower,
i hope that your T will find a way to comfort you about the new things you're going to be sharing. i hope that everything goes well on your appt Mon.
Yes i was officially diagnosed with DID after the teacher told me. My T that i was seeing (who didn't recognize the signs of DID) sent me to a psychologist who specializes in assessment and she gave me tests and a long interview. After that it seemed like my parts came forward more than ever before. i don't have co conciousness and it's really hard to manage since i left my T that i had the past six years. i found i had DID in 1999, during the fall semester but had so much trouble at times in my life.
Anyways i hope that you don't have it but if you do- that you will find out and your T will be really comforting and helpful.
It's really hard to live without lots of support - people need to give us a break about our performance or it's too hard.
