just be happy that you were able to spill your guts! i've been working w/ my T for a year and i'm not there. i get hung up along the way with what my therapist and i believe are relevant issues. these issues are the feelings i walk away with after a difficult session. how i interpret a comment, his behavior, a certain situation. i examine how i acted in a certain situation and oftentime realize a pattern that i see in my past. it all starts to become clear. you have to look carefully at the guts you just spilled and go through it all and figure out what parts made you unhappy, anxious, angry, sad, happy, confident, betrayed, etc.

easier said than done. it's good that you were able to get it all out though. sometimes that is the hardest part.
