I relate to what Xbunny said about passing the buck. That seems to happen a lot in the NHS, you get passed from one doctor to another, especially if your a bit of a challenge to treat.
I think I will complain, if I can be bothered.

Its a sad story.To explain to none UK people:
In the UK most people do not have medical insurance. Instead you can see GPs for "free" (although you have to pay with your taxes of course!).
Most GPs don't know much, so the GP then refers you to a specialist. The problem is that you cannot choose the specialist your refered to, so this gives the doctors a lot of power. Bad doctors get payed just as much as good ones, because patients cannot choose who they see.
