Fallsfall, I love this, that ice cream is your saviour, your comfort, your calmer. I really love it.

My profession is food. That's sounds weird, but I don't know how else to say it, and as I am very specialized, I don't want to say what I do for the sake of anonymity.

But I have very strong feelings about food, about what it can do, and how it can influence us. Those with eating disorders could surely tell me things I never thought about, too. But I think of it as so many things.

But ice cream, well, that just makes sense. Ice cream is sugar and milk. It's mother's comfort. It's cake and ice cream, birthdays. It's dessert, the treat that comes after. It's a hot day's refreshment. It cools a fever.

Recently, I met a woman who organises silent retreats. I told her I would be very interested in cooking at one of these retreats and we talked about the importance of food in the circumstances. This idea thrills me, to cook for people who would be really into the experience of it.

Please take care. I know of no other Ice Cream Queen.
