I drive 45-50 min and it works well for me. I live in a small town and I don't want to run into anyone I know. I also have time in the car before I get there (good and bad) to have somewhat of an idea what to talk about in therapy. But the best is that I have that time alone after therapy to process and also settle back down if it was a difficult session. I don't mind driving and even though I live in the midwest where weather changes in five min. I have never had a problem getting to and from therapy. I have been with this T one year. However, I was with my previous T several years and he was a bit further.
