Unconscious Guilt

Posted by celextolex on April 6, 2004, at 18:41:18

I've been seeing a T for about 8-9 months for severe anxiety and depression. He's helped me figure out why I'm messed up in the first place, but has no solution for recover except meds. He keeps telling me I have unconscious guilt and have to let it go. That totally doesn't help me. I asked him about cognitive therapy, but he seems against it, but I also don't trust him because he has $$$$ incentive to keep me. I wonder if I'm with the right kind of therapist. He seems way too much into the unconscious. Does anyone have any insight?
