Bubba should be completely accepting of you googling him, knowing his address and all this stuff. Don't let him dare be mean again. He does sound a bit paranoid. Can't he trust you after all this time? Hopefully you can both talk about all of this honestly, it might actually improve your relationship and take the therapy forward. Good luck.
