My husband at the age of 45 over the course of a 2wk time became very paranoid, unable to sleep for days on end, depressed to the point of close hospitalization. Treatment was sought and he was diagnosed with paranoid schizoprenia or bipolar d/o. The Dr was really unable to truly unable to discern. He was treated with Zyprexa at25mg,with great results after only 3wks of medication. That was a yr ago.Now on Amblify 10mg w/no recurring symptoms since treatment 1st started. His family has a history of schizoprenia on his mothers side.out of 13 children 1 had the classic symtoms from age 20,til his death. 1 did not show signs until 32 and con'ts to be treated at age 73 and 3 had more classic signs of anxiety d/o with schizoprenia traits but only for short perods of time and take no medication at this time or after the symptoms subsided. They are now in their late 60's and eary 70's. My husband is the middle child of 3 and very well adjusted, intelligent and social. I feel like I need more infor on later life exper onset of this and have been unsuccessful in this quest. HELP!
