i think my pdoc is aware of my problem to treat and sees meds as helps to that goal. that is, he understands that it's not a purely biological issue that meds correct and life goes on. i met with mine this week, and we spent nearly an hour talking about my life- to my surprise- and only 5 minutes on medication management. he understands that it's my issues that have caused depression and he's there to make sure i stay safe while i deal with my stuff.
