discrimination in the name of 'equity'

Posted by alexandra_k on March 14, 2020, at 21:59:21

we are still very very very very backwards in discriminating against people.

we say we are asking about various things for the purposes of remedying injustice -- but we only use the information to perpeptuate and further entrench injustice.

we promote harmful stereotypes.

about how it is 'culturally appropriate' for maaori to have group appointments only where the whole tribe decides who gets birth control (ahaha).

about how it is 'culturally normal' for maaori to plagarise.

(to only be allowed to plagarise all the way up...)

to be the tribal chief is to claim the fruits of everyone else's labor as your own.

that's how they get to be productive. by passing their studnets work off as their own.

the ultimate in plagarism, really.

individuals don't produce theses. supervisors produce theses. you have to wait around for your supervisor to produce a thesis for you.

your supervisor will only produce a thesis for you if you produce several theses for your supervisor first.

there is no education system.

there's only brute facts about how the government distributes the money.

the size of everyones paycheck.

the fact that the hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars that go to cheif executives... not just of one government organisation, but mre than one.

2 district health boards and the earthquake commission and another one as well. that's like 4 jobs where each of those jobs is more than 4 x the average salary. wow.

that's where the money goes.

tertiary education commission and reserve bank and vice chancellor of a university. i wonder what else.

that's where the money goes.

so they can buy up a bunch of slums and make sure their employees never produce anything.
