Welcome to babble! I have been very fortunate in my circus of medications. I think that a big part of the problem with the psychotropic medications is that no long term studies have been possible to do - so, not to defend the pharmaceuticals; they are just trying to get as rich as they can as quickly as they can, but there just hasn't been any information out there about the long term effects (i.e. beyond a 6 week course of treatment) on many meds out there.
I don't know if it's criminal or just greedy. I know I'm grateful for the meds I'm on, finally.
