I can't tell you how happy I was to find this website. I'm not crazy after all!!! Every single person experiences the exact same withdrawal symptoms I do when trying to stop or taper down on zoloft. I have been on zoloft for about 6 years. I was put on zoloft for post - partum depression after the birth of my second child. I have tried to stop taking the medication 10-15 times over the last few years and get sicker every time. I don't need the medicine anymore but my body is dependent on it. I have always been on 50mg and am now sucessfully down to 25mg but had to get on Wellbutrin to taper down to 25mg. Isn't it a shame that Pfizer is making money on us? It's a crime - I don't need the medicine but am unable to get off it. The doctor's are not educated enough about the seriousness of the side effects when you stop taking zoloft. Do you think if we all banded together, we could have a voice with the FDA? I wouldn't wish the withdrawal symptoms on my worst enemy.
