Ouch!!! I have never had a migraine, but I have friends who have horribly, wicked migraines, and it is not something I would wish on my worst enemy. I'm sorry you are suffering :-(> I may look into HRT, but the funny thing is that emotionally I feel better than I have for a while, so the reduced hormone levels must be good for me. I need to balance that with the physical stuff.

That is fortunate for you. Perhaps you won't need HRT at all. Perimenopause has been terrible for me emotionally :-( I guess I can't really complain, though. Until the past couple of years, I never had any problems at all with my cycle - no cramps, always regular (28 days like clockwork), and only some minor irritability. Now, I am so exhausted, moody, nauseaus and downright cranky, it is very unpleasant.> (2 or 3 a month? grooooaaaaaan. How long does this last? Arrrrgh!)
I have not idea :-( I have read that the transition to menopause can last up to 10 years. Most women start to experience changes in their early 40s, and stop completely in their early 50s. I hope it doesn't last that long. I won't have any friends left and my family will have disowned me by then LOL. I had three good months this year (September, October, November) where I had only one period and not as severe PMS. The rest of the year, it was two and three a month. This month, however, I have had the worst PMS and I just started my second one this month. The last one only ended about 8 or 9 days ago. Bummer :-(
Well, sorry to go on. I hope you get some relief from your migraine soon. Take care.
