Hi Sabrina,
I was so glad to see you post about Curves. I am weighing the options between that and my local YMCA. "Y" of course, has many more classes, pool, freedom to do whatever (been a member before but stopped as couldn't afford monthly $) BUT...for me, a place with a set routine, with music, with mainly women around my age who are in a simlar place w/weight, lack of exercise, etc., could be the ticket right now, at least for say, a year (is that the required contract time?) to get me in the habit and to establish consistency.
May I ask what it costs where you live? (if you choose to say) I see from the Curves website it's not the same joining fee or dues nationwide.
Also...are the people nice? Music...what sort? Is is annoying in that it's the same, canned tape every workout? Gosh...sorry a lot of questions and you just started. But I've been anxious to talk to a real person who's going...and there was your post! Any info would be very much appreciated.
And....I recall following some posts quite a while back where you were not doing well at all. So it is so wonderful, makes me smile to see...when someone is in a better place :-) To be well enough to want to go to Curves and actually do it...that's just great! My best to you, your muscles and your cardiovascular sustem ;-)
