Hi. I think it might be helpful to begin keeping track of the night sweats. Get a little calendar and make note of when you have them, and also make a note of anything that might possibly affect them, such as medicines, medicine withdrawal, vitamins and other supplements, foods that aren't in your usual diet, etc. After a few months, check to see whether you can see a pattern. For example, as I mentioned, I get them in the week or so before my period. And although I haven't gotten them mid-cycle yet, I often feel worse mid-cycle than I do when I'm premenstrual.
You said that you aren't on any medicines now. Have you recently withdrawn from any medicines, such as antidepressants? Sometimes medication withdrawal can cause symptoms for weeks or months.
I hope you start sleeping better very soon.
