Yes, my neurologist suggested 6 - 9 mg of melatonin every night. I take 9 mg. I'm not sure if it helps, but it makes sense. Seratonin supposedly plays a role in migraines. And I've read that seratonin is also involved in the sleeping mechamism. Melatonin aids in sleep, too. Also, when I get a bad migraine, it helps to sleep. So seratonin and melatonin both must have something to do with the part of the brain that has to do with sleeping & migraine pain.
