Chronic yeast infections???

Posted by Spriggy on March 6, 2005, at 18:42:01

I had never had a yeast infection in all my life (which I know is rare for a woman), but the week before Thanksgiving of this last year, I got my "first one."

EVER since, it seems to not go away.

I have had the dr. prescribe Diflucan pill several times. It goes away for a week, then comes back.

I have been on Monistat 7 almost continually.

What would be the sudden cause of these infections.. I think I've had probably 7 of them since THanksgiving.

I've been very good about my sugar intake and have been eating regular/plain yogurt DAILY. I am taking acidophilus chewables as well.

It just won't go away.. Is this from stress??
