Maybe it would help to look at it this way---whether or not you have a full blown eating disorder, the eating pattern you are describing is definitely disordered eating. What you don't want to have happen is for it to become habit, or for your body to get so used to it as to have increasing difficulty eating normally and healthfully. I think getting help to break the pattern now is a good idea. Maybe consult a nutritionist?
