Lynn,
I guess you have to think of it like any other illness..
What if it were a cancer? Or a tumor? or diabetes? Would you still think your faith in God had failed you if you had those things?
When you get sick and throw up, do you think it's your lack of faith?
We often put this burden on ourselve's.. it's not from Him. He is capable of removing anxiety and depression and cancer and diabetes if He chose to, but most of the time, we learn to live "with the thorn in our flesh while seeing that His grace is sufficient."
Just remember, Paul pleaded with God three times to remove his thorn and God's answer was "no." It wasn't a lack of Paul's faith- it was simply God's divine will to allow whatever suffering was necessary to keep Paul at the foot of the throne.
Don't beat yourself up- your faith in Him and His love for you doesn't change.. no matter how you feel or what your rx is.
His grace is sufficient.
(((((hugs and prayers))))
