Runnergirl,
Hey, I'm not sure if you still check this thread, but I read your post, and it reminds me a lot of me. . .I use to run track in high school ( a few years ago) and when I stopped running I started getting insatiably hungry with super strong carb cravings (especially sugar!). I was miserable for like a year, and started being bulimic for a little while. Well, it took me a while but finally a year later I noticed that when I run a lot or work out my appetite is suppressed and I feel good, and when I don't exercise I feel like crap and am super hungry. So I started exercising every day again and I started taking a supplement, St Johns Wort, which is an anti-depressant and is supposed to help with low serotonin (to help with the cravings). That worked really well for me, but if you don't want to try that maybe u should go to a doctor and have them prescribe an anti-depressant or you should start working out every day again (which helps a lot!). Well, I'm off to the gym, because I'm off all supplements right now, and if I don't work out I'll be super hungry!! Good luck, and please feel free to e-mail me or post again if u want to talk about it.
