Wow, you read the end of the road for school? I am impressed. In my experience, school messes literature up for many years, however... I remember reading TKAM in 5th form (when I was around 15) and that is probably the only one that even school didn't manage to kill. But then I did start out as an English major at varsity, so it can't have been all bad :-)
