> "Jitterbug Perfume", Tim Robyns. Didn't like "Even Cowgirls get the Blues" nearly as much.
I read "Cowgirls" many years ago and really enjoyed it though it took me a while to get into it. I don't remember it much other than it was quirky, I think that the protagonist had very large thumbs and I loved the way it all tied together at the end. I'd probably like "Jitterbug Perfume" then too.
> Has anyone encountered John Barth??? He was my absolute favourite for a while. Loved "The End of The Road" and "The Floating Opera" though I think they may both be out of print.
I had to read "The End of the Road" for school many years ago but I don't remember it at all. Maybe if I read a summary on Amazon.com it would come back to me. It was so long ago that I probably would get a lot more out of it if I read it now.
> Anyone manage to finish "Crime and Punishment"?Nope.
