I take 400mg+ of Magnesium Citrate and 1-2g of Glycine every night before I go to bed. I'm definitely calmer the next day. Magnesium can be energising as well as calming so if you have bad sleep problems it might make them worse. I do suffer sleep problems and I've been ok so far. I'm going to have to research if Glycine helps with GAD.
