I started a diet some weeks ago in order to try and improve the symptoms of an unrelated ( to depression)condition, and have have been pleasantly suprised that it has caused the virtual disappearance of the moderate depressive symptoms that have been bugging me for some years. Prof. Loren Cordain promotes what is essentially a "Stoneage diet" to cure or ameliorate various conditions that plague modern western civilisations. After only three weeks of this diet, I have noted dramatic improvements in the following areas,
Sleep
Motivation
Energy levels
Mood stabilization
Reduction in anxiety levels.
reduced aches and pains.All in all not a bad deal for simply avoiding certain foods. ( I have taken no AD's or pyschoactives during this period)
