Nothing has worked as well for depression for me as magnesium.
If magnesium produces diarrhea at low doses, say 100 to 400 mg/day, I would say that's possible evidence for leaky gut syndrome.

> I actually take extra magnesium with my daily vitamins to combat constipation from my ADs. I don't think it's ever done much for my anxiety though, nor do I think it's ever had any affect on my depression. But if you're constipated, it will definiely help :) I supplement with magnesium only, NOT the magnesium/calcium combo you'll often see.
