The salmon oil I'm using is the Sundown brand I found at CVS. I had the major coupons and it was cheap - actually, I'm a bit of a cheapskate. I do think if I have seen a lot of difference with a more expensive product, I would have continued it, but I did not. The EPA content per softgel of this brand isn't very high, but I was accustomed to using about 5-6 per day without problem, so that wasn't a big issue for me. I also wrote them to inquire about their standards for PCB's and heavy metals and they were good enough to send me a quick reply and are below the standards required.
As I've said, I've tried a lot, but thus far, I'm am more pleased with this one.
Give it a whirl, if you like, and see if you notice a difference. At the very least, it's good for the heart.
