Sometimes systems cannot be fixed. At some point the problems are beyond repair. The structure must be destructed and rebuilt. I think that is the case with Psycho Babble.
All this bickering back and forth is clearly leading nowhere fast. As one of my favourite quotes states: Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
