Does the University of Chicago have meeting rooms available? Discounts on hotel rooms for visitors?
The Hyde Park area might be less congested than Grant Park.The Grant Park area will be be packed on June 11 because of the Blues Fest. I looked at the city of Chicago's website and it draws 680,000 people.
Parking and hotels might be a problem. Not to mention my fear of crowds. We could still go to the Blues Fest or the Art Institute, just not stay near them? Maybe mass transit or cab it?
